This project has a total length of 5.29 kilometres (3.29 mi), of which 2.3 kilometres (1.4 mi) are flyover and the remaining 2.9 kilometres (1.8 mi) are road widening works..

Started at Bhavanipuram this flyover is built on Krishna River, Prakasam Barrage and Buckingham Canal near Indrakeeladri hill, and meets NH65 near Pandit Nehru Bus Station.

It took nearly 500 Crore rupees to construct this bridge. And this is constructed with the support of 46 pillars with 45 meters distance from one pillar to another.

The flyover has 6 lanes besides a 4-lane highway road that will be developed under the structure. Totally, 10 lines are built between the Krishna River and Durga temple hill for passing vehicles.
