7 Forbidden Places On Earth That Are Not Allowed To Visit

There are exotic destinations around the world, for all travelers and tourists to visit and enjoy. But there are some other places, that you should never visit, places that are dangerous, forbidden for some unknown strange reasons.

Today, we would like to tell you about those forbidden places, we may never visit them, but it’s interesting to learn about them. Take a look

1.  Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan, India

Bhangarh Fort is open during the day for tourists and visitors. But come sunset, no one is allowed to visit the place. The people who visited this place in the dark are never seen again.

According to legend, a sadhu lived within the fort area,  he ordered any fort should not be taller than his own, and if the shadow of any such house fell on his house, it would result in the destruction of the fort town. When columns were added to the fort that cast a shadow on the sadhu’s house, the Sadhu cursed the fort for this tragic fate.

And every house located in the surrounding area is roofless. Locals stated that it is not possible to construct a roof on these houses, and even if one is built, it collapses, and such incidents have killed many people in the past.

2. Ilha da Queimada Grande, Brazil

They call it Snake Island. Like in the movies, this is a place where you see snakes for every square meter of the island. 430,000 square meters, now imagine the snakes. Only the Brazilian navy and biomedical research teams are allowed to this place.

3. Pravcicka Brana, Czech Republic

Pravcicka Brana is the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe, and one of the most striking nature monuments in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. It is protected as a national natural monument.

As a result of the heavy sheer number of visitors, which resulted in erosion, officials banned people from visiting it, as it may lead to a collapse.




4. Lascaux Caves, France

On 12 September 1940, the entrance to the Lascaux Cave was discovered by 18-year-old Marcel Ravidat when his dog, Robot, investigated a hole left by an uprooted tree. Ravidat returned to the scene with three friends, Jacques Marsal, Georges Agnel, and Simon Coencas. The teenagers discovered that the cave walls were covered with depictions of animals, and pre-historic art on the walls, the paintings date back more than 17,000 years. And the place has more than 6,000 paintings drawn using mineral and manganese pigments, and charcoal.

As the number of visitors increased, the air condition deteriorated, and fungi infested the walls. Due to the influx of visitors, the paintings were damaged. So, the officials closed the cave to the public in 1963.

5. Room 39, North Korea

Room 39 is one of the most secret organizations in arguably the world’s most secretive state.

Room 39 is said to be located inside the Workers’ Party building in Pyongyang. It’s believed that it raises funds through commercial enterprises both legal and illegal with activities ranging from counterfeiting to the sale of gold, drugs, or weapons.




6. North Sentinel, Andaman, and Nicobar Islands

One of the most isolated places on Earth. It is inhabited by one of the world’s few remaining uncontacted tribes, named Sentinelese. A three-mile restriction zone prevents visitors from entering the territory. No one visits this place, only the Sentinelese tribe live in this place.




7. Area 51

Top-secret aircraft and weapons technologies have been developed and tested in Area 51 since the facility was established by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 1955. Others believe the area houses UFOs and that aliens are being held captive there. Area 51 is arguably one of the most secretive places on earth, leading to wild speculations and conspiracy theories.
