Making steps to become a global city and role model city Hyderabad is in news again. Couple of days back France’s leading aircraft manufacturer Safran announced that they are going to set up a aircraft engines manufacturing plant in Hyderabad soon.
First of its kind in India:
Safran is going to start huge and big CFM engines to LEAP turbofan engines manufacturing with investment of whopping 393 crores Approx to set up a plant in Hyderabad. Near Shamshabad airport ki daggara lo government allot chesina 13,000 square meters (140,400 sq ft), including 8,000 square meters (86,400 sq ft) of workshops lo June 2019 nundi ee company manufacturing start chestundi anta.
Will fetch to local Aeronautical engineers and students:
The plant will have about 50 employees by the end of the year to launch operations and will eventually have a workforce of 300 which will directly helps local talents. And the company aims to deliver the manufacturing parts by the end of 2020.
19 technicians trained from Telangana will join the plant:
19 of technicians identified from the State of Telangana and trained through partnership between Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge (TASK) and Safran Electrical & Power will join the plant.
