Happy 36 Naresh Iyer!


Naresh Iyer paade paatalalo ne kadu..thana jeevitham kuda chaala placesand bhashalaki ankitham. He is an Indian playback singer from Mumbai born to a Tamil speaking family from Kerela. He finished his graduation in Commerce and wanted to become a Chartered Accountant, but decided to study Carnatic and Hindustan Classical Music. He participated in a Chanel V talent show where he did not reach the winning spot, but was recognized by A.R.Rehman and later he contacted Naresh Iyer. That was when Naresh Iyer made his debut with “Mayilirage” from Anbe Aaruyire. Naresh is also the vocalist of a Mumbai based fusion band called Dhvani. He also won the R.D. Burman Award as the best male upcoming singer. The same year he also won the National Award for Best Playback Singer(Male) for his rendition of “Rubaroo” from the movie “Rang De Basanti”. This song topped the music charts for many weeks in 2006.
