From Pathaan To Michael: Highest Collected 2023 Indian Movies, So Far (Feb 2023)
2023 is off to a good start at the box office. For Hindi cinema, 2023 started with a bang. Telugu & Tamil cinema delivered blockbusters too. Seems like 2023 is going to be a big year for numbers at the box office.

1. Pathaan
Language: Hindi
Worldwide Gross: ₹865.4 crore
Shahrukh Khan came back like a King and conquered the Indian box office. The much-awaited box office success for both Bollywood and SRK came this year. He has another two releases this year, seems like 2023 belongs to Shah Rukh Khan.
2. Varisu
Language: Tamil
Worldwide Gross: ₹302 crore
Even with a mediocre talk, the film reached blockbuster status. Thalapathy Vijay’s movies always do big numbers at the box office. Even his average movies collect more than some stars’ superhits. Varisu is another proven example of his ever-increasing stardom.
3. Waltair Veerayya
Language: Telugu
Worldwide Gross: ₹230.50 crore
Megastar gave a wild hit with Waltair Veerayya. The film did excellent numbers at the box office. Bobby gave the vintage Megastar back and his comedy is what made Waltair Veerayya, one of the biggest hits in the legendary career of Chiranjeevi.
4. Thunivu
Language: Tamil
Worldwide Gross: ₹185 crore
The film opened with huge numbers, but after three days, the numbers dropped by a huge margin. And clearly, Pongal belongs to Thalapathy Vijay in Tamilnadu.
5. Veera Simha Reddy
Language: Telugu
Worldwide Gross: ₹150.80 crore
This Balayya’s mass adventure scored a mass hit by collecting 150 crores and becoming the highest collected film in Balayya’s career.
6. Kranti
Language: Kannada
Worldwide Gross: ₹33 crore
D-Boss, Kranthi did well at the box office and gave a great start to the Sandalwood box office.
7. Michael
Language: Telugu
Worldwide Gross: ₹9.7 crore
Released with a fantastic buzz, but the film didn’t live up to the expectations.
8. Writer Padmabhushan
Language: Telugu
Worldwide Gross: ₹5 crore
A small film, a big success.
