The time was 1990’s and the age was innocent childhood. The sundays on the channel Doordarshan were characterized by The Jungle Book show, with Mowgli swinging over the trees with his pals Bhageera and Baloo, trying to escape the crooked Sher Khan. These were what defined our childhood. The iconic title song penned by Gulzar and composed by Vishal Bharadwaj soon became a national anthem of sorts.
Now after nearly two decades of it’s initial appearance, the team behind the original classic soundtrack, got back to recreate the magic of The Jungle Book movie releasing this April. Relive the nostalgic magic down here :
