One major attraction or say an added advantage for NTR Jr. is his similarities in appearance to the Late Legend NTR. When NTR Jr. was roped in to play ‘Bala Ramayanam’, everyone recollected his grandfather for the resemblance he bore. We all know the outcome of this Gunashekar’s debut in 1996. It was embraced by audience unanimously.
So, keeping that aside, do you remember the girl who played Sita in this epic drama which had all children playing the leads? She is Smitha Madhav, who impressed everyone of us with her charm. Fast forward 20 years and Smitha Madhav has grown up to be something we all might not be aware of. She is an accomplished and performing Carnatic Classical Singer and a Bharatanatyam Dancer.
Smitha has earned a diploma in Music and Dance from Telugu University which she fared very well with distinction. She is currently pursuing the Masters’ Program in Dance from the Indirakala Sangeet Vishwa Vidyalaya and the Masters’ programme in Music from the Madras University.
Apart from this Smitha Madhav has proved herself with number of performances across various countries and was also awarded the Akkineni Nageswara Rao SWARNA KANKANAM award in September 2011.
