10 Tamil Directors Who Gave Flops To Our Telugu Heroes
Kollywood and Tollywood have had good equations from the inception. Tami movies in Telugu states, Telugu movies in Tamil states did, does, and always will have good business, received well at both box offices.
There are some directors from Kollywood who made movies with Telugu heroes and vice-versa. Directors like Mani, and K Balachander made movies in Telugu and delivered hits for Tollywood heroes. And also Telugu directors like Singeetahm Srinivas Rao to Vamsi Paidipally who made Varisu with Thalapathy Vijay.
But here are some Tamil directors who worked with Telugu heroes and gave utter flops and disaster movies. In this article, we are going to see those directors and their flops in Tollywood.
1. Sj Suryah – Nani & Puli
SJ Suryah is known for the blockbuster Telugu movie Kushi with Pawan Kalyan. After Kushi SJ Suryah worked with Mahesh Babu for the Nani movie which is a disaster at the box office. SJ Suryah worked again with PK for the Puli movie which is the biggest disaster at the box office.
2. Dharani – Bangaram
Pawan Kalyan worked with Tail director Dharani who is knowns for hit movies in Tamil. But he made a Bangaram movie with Pawan Kalyan in Telugu which is below average at the box office and commercially failed at the box office.
3. K.S. Ravikumar – Ruler
K.S Ravikumarknown for industry hits like Muthu, Padayappa, and Dasavatharam in Kollywood. KS Ravikumar made a Ruler movie with Nandamuri Balakrishna in Telugu which is a disaster at the box office.
4. P. Vasu – Nagavalli
Chandramukhi director P. Vasu made the Nagavalli movie with Victory Venkatesh in Telugu. This movie a separate franchise to Chandramukhi went totally wrong and became a disaster at the box office.
5. GVM – Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu
GVM gave a classic love story to Tollywood with Ye Maya Chesave. But his collaboration with Nani and Samantha for Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu movie which is a commercial failure and a disaster at the box office.

A.R. Murugadoss is the best commercial moviemaker known for movies like Ghajini, Thuppaki, and others movies. He made his Tollywood debut with the Stalin movie with Chiranjeevi which is a decent hit at the box office. But his next and second project with Mahesh Babu, spyder went totally wrong.
7. Anand Shankar – NOTA
Vijay Deverakonda’s bilingual attempt with Anand Shankar went wrong. NOTA movie released in Tamil and Telugu movie was a disaster at the box office.
8. Lingusamy – The Warrior
recently, Pandek Kodi director Lingusamy’s Tollywood debut with Ram Pothineni went totally wrong. The Warrior movie with Ram Pothineni is resulted in a huge disaster at the box office for Lingumsamy.
9. Ranjit Jeyakodi – Michael
Sundeep Kishan’s PAN-India project Michael with Kollywood director Ranjit Jeyakodi went totally wrong and resulted in a huge disaster at the box office.
10. Venkat Prabhu – Custody
Venkat Prabhu, who is known for different movies made his Tollywood debut with a Custody movie. Naga Chaitanya starrer Custody movie received negative and mixed reviews from Day and had a slow run at the box office. Trade Analysts already declared this as a failure at the box office.
