However, one man who has faced the odds and still managed to surprise audiences is Vijay Sethupathy.
Vijay Sethupathy has been one of those consistent actors who has played multiple roles over the past seven to eight years. Despite that, he still has that aura of surprise around him. This makes him one of the actors in the industry who directors are willing to bank on with experimental roles and he pulls them off with great skill and gusto.

One of the telling factors behind Vijay Sethupathy’s acting and his selection of roles is that he does not mind being upstaged. Despite being an established actor, he has taken on movies where he plays the sidekick or is part of a gang. This allows him to pick scripts as well as characters that play to his strengths.
For example, in the movie Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, he plays the role of a man who loses his memory a day before his wedding. The innocence and aloofness that he brings out in the character saw him win plenty of awards. In Soodhu Kavvum, he plays the schizophrenic head of a small-time kidnapping gang that sees him end up in some terrible and hilarious situations.

Hard worker:
If there is someone who deserves the tag of a hard worker, it must go to Vijay Sethupathy. From starting off in the television industry to playing small-time roles, he has been thrust into the limelight and is basking away to glory. All this is because of the amount of hard work that he has put in right from the beginning of his career that has seen him end up as a bankable hero.
He played small roles in movies such as Pudhupettai and M.Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi and from there, is now the lead, playing varying roles in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Sethupathy.
