According to the media invites for an event schedule on March 27th, Apple is all set to launch cheaper MacBook and iPads to cater to the education segment. Here’s what you can expect coming.
Cheaper MacBook Air
A cheaper version of the MacBook Air is expected to be launched on the 27th. It may be priced about $799 to $899. These can be expected to hit the shelves in Q2 of 2018.
Budget iPads
Taking into consideration students or schools Apple is speculated to launch a cheaper 9.7 inch iPad around $257.
Updated Apple pencil with iPad support
The Apple pencil might get an upgrade. This version is expected to be compatible with the 9.7 inch iPad.
iOS 11.3 with ‘ClassKit’ for developers
‘ClassKit’ was introduced in iOS 11.3 beta 2 in February 2018. This will enable education app developers to work on enhanced student evaluation features.
