Though the movie is about the serious events that occurred in Iraq, the story revolves around a single nurse who has a hand in rescuing the nurses. Her name is said to be Sameera (Parvathy Thiruvothu), and she was also pregnant. She contacted the Karela government by her phone and even reached out to the Indian Embassy in Iraq. Though she was held captive with the other nurses, she did her best to save her husband, who was held captive with other doctors by ISIS to cure the injured terrorists. Kali is an Indian Malayalam-language action drama film. The film was directed and co-produced by Sameer Thahir. The movie is a message on the importance of controlling your anger. The story revolves around a couple, where the husband Siddharth (played by Dulquer Salmaan) had severe anger issues which led him to do several things in a completely wrong way. The wife Anjali (played by Sai Pallavi) tries her best to convince her husband to control his anger, but he always ends up taking it out in an inappropriate way. The married couple decided to shift from Dubai to Kerala to stay at Priya’s childhood place, But things seem suspicious to Priya, which leads her to leave the house and not to stay there anymore. Premam is an Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy-drama film. The film was written, edited, and directed by Alphonse Puthren. The name of the movie means “love” as the protagonist, George (played by Nivin Pauly) is on his way to finding his true love throughout the film. The story revolves around him, showing that whenever he starts liking a girl, something or the other comes up that takes him out of the picture. Iyobinte Pusthakam is an Indian Malayalam-language historical action film. Amal Neerad directed the film. The movie takes place in the 1900s in Munnar when India was occupied by the British. The story revolves around Aloshy (played by Fahadh Faasil) who is one of the sons of Iyobi. Iyobi was one of the trusted workers under a British man Harrison. When Harrison dies, Iyobi takes all of his assets even though they belonged to his wife, Kazhali. Iyobi had three sons, Dmitri (played by Chemban Vinod Jose), Ivan (played by Jinu Joseph) and Aloshy. Aloshy fell in love with Martha, daughter of Kazhali and they together survive the battle for power. This movie teaches us the value of the family and appreciation towards your ability. Koode is an Indian Malayalam-language psychological drama film. The film was written and directed by Anjali Menon. The movie is about Joshua (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran), a worker in a factory. One Day, he suddenly gets a call that his sister, Jennifer (played by Nazriya Nazim) passed away. He visited his hometown and had an unexpected dream which came to be true. He could see his dead sister and even talk to her. His sister helps him realise the reasons he was happy in his childhood and how he missed all of that as he was sent away by his parents to earn money. She also helps him reunite with his childhood love, Sophia (played by Parvathy Thiruvothu). The movie beautifully portrays the sacred bond between a brother and a sister. The way Joshua admires and cares for his sister melts our hearts.

Bangalore Days is an Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy-drama film. The film was written and directed by Anjali Menon. The relationship and bond that cousins share are unbreakable and pure. The story in the movie revolves around the life of three cousins, Divya (played by Nazriya Nazim), Krishnan (played by Nivin Pauly) and Arjun (played by Dulquer Salmaan). Divya who just completed her graduation is married to a corporate worker Shivadas (played by Fahadh Faasil) and encounters several problems with him which led to their divorce. Krishnan who falls in love with an air hostess but realises that he is just being used. Arjun who love bike racing falls in love with Sarah, a radio jockey and ends up living happily with her. Charlie is an Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film. The film was directed by Martin Prakkat and written by Prakkat, and Unni R. The plot revolves around an artist named Tessa (played by Parvathy) who starts living in a messy apartment where she finds an abandoned comic which was unfinished. From their her journey to find the owner of the sketchbook starts. The entire movie is filled with the characters in the sketchbook who narrates their own experience with the owner. At the end of the film, Tessa finally meets the owner whose name was Charlie (played by Dulquer Salmaan). During her entire journey, she only gets to know more about Charlie which also makes the movie interesting for the viewers. It brings out the curiosity and excitement in us.
