Video Streaming era was improved from TV’s to Desktops and now from desktops to Smartphones with an easy way at cheaper cost from various streaming vendors.
Well, Digital media content from various media houses is now telecasting via various media Streaming partners and among those Star India’s Hotstar Ranked first by hitting the most popular Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
According to the recent survey by Counterpoint research, the valuation of the over the top (OTT) Video Content market in India is at $280 million with 100 Million subscribers.
While Star’s Hotstar is at first place, Viacom18 scored second place and the Amazon Prime video at third place and Sony Liv at fourth place and the most popular Netflix ranked fifth in the list.

Hotstar runs as Freemium, it is almost free and only for some shows and Premium Movies it needs Premium subscription like Game of Thrones is a Premium Web series and other shows from Star India are free of cost and Voot and Sony Liv are also a free Streaming vendors.
Amazon and Netflix are fully Subscription based but Amazon is a bit reasonable for every consumer charges once per year in the first year it launched you can avail it for ₹499 but now it is ₹999 per year it is a reasonable cost but the Netflix is costlier than any other charges ₹500 ₹650 ₹800 per Month.
