It’s all over the news and its happening – Kuthu king Dhanush will be finally doing a new project with young directorial talent Karthik Subbaraj. Kollywood was in a blaze of excitement lately when Dhanush himself had tweeted the good news .

While the details about the new film are still unknown, one thing is for certain – this combination is going to be stellar spectacular. Meaningful and enticing, if we may add. Subbaraj had gained immense reputation for his rare sense of direction ever since Pizza happened. Then Jigarthanda with Siddharth only propelled his capabilities further up – the young lad has what it takes to spew the words, ‘different’ and ‘highly imaginative’. Karthik is deigned to take on newer heights with his unique touch with story rendition and visual treatment.
Though Dhanush is a complete commercial star, he had more than once proved that intensity is one of his very facets. Films like Maryan and Velaiyilla Pattathari have already showcased his great potential as a deep performer. It remains to be seen as to what kind of magical outcome can happen with him in a Karthik Subbaraj directorial piece. We are more than sure that a killer script has been locked already for this project.
The time is also right for both of these guys to step up and try something different – new horizons and incredible screenplay that is coupled with breath taking performance.
