3. Aditya Karikalan, the son of Vijayalaya defeated the Pandyan Kingdom in 885 and the Pallava Kingdom in 897 CE. Then Aditya I took control over Sri Lanka in 925 and ruled all of the Tamil-speaking regions of southern India.

4. The next 2 kings Rajaraja Chola I (985 – 1014) & Rajendra Chola I (1012 -1044) helped the most in expanding the Chola dynasty. Rajendra Chola conquered north to the Ganges River (Ganga),defeated rulers of Bihar and Bengal, he had also taken coastal Myanmar (Burma), the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and major ports in the Indonesian and Malay Peninsula which made Chola empire a first Naval based empire in India.

1. This film is semi-autobiographical, as it is based on the make Pan Nalin’s own childhood memories.

A nine-year-old Samay from Chalala, a village in Saurashtra in the Gujarat state of India entered a cinema hall projection booth by bribing Fazal, a cinema projector technician, and watched several films through summer. He became engrossed with cinema for life. The film focuses on hope and innocence. And the film not only tells a story of a kid hailing from a small village who has fallen in love with cinema but it also chronicles an important series of events in film history i.e. the ending culture of single-screen cinema and 35mm celluloid films in India.

3. The cast is mostly made of child actors. Six village boys from local communities of the region were cast. The film was shot in villages and railway stations in Saurashtra. He also brought old celluloid Hindi films and a technician to run projectors.

4. The film was shot in March 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in India. The post-production was completed during the pandemic.

8. If Hollywood got Multiverse, we got our own Astraverse. This is going to be India’s own Marvel according to the Brahmastra team, and the trade pundits. The director planned this to be an original cinematic universe centered on Indian mythology.
