ఉత్తరాఖండ్లోని పితోరాగడ్ ప్రాంతం గంగోలిహట్ నుంచి సుమారుగా 14 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో భువనేశ్వర్ అనే గ్రామం ఉంటుంది. అక్కడే ‘పాతాళ భువనేశ్వర స్వామి’ ఆలయం ఉంటుంది. ఇందులో వినాయకుడు, ఆయన తండ్రి శివున్ని దర్శించవచ్చు.. ఈ ఆలయంలోకి వెళ్లాలంటే సుమారుగా 100 అడుగుల లోతు, 160 మీటర్ల పొడవు ఉన్న గుహలోకి కిందవరకు వెళ్లాలి. చాలా మంది భక్తులు ఈ గుహలోకి వెళ్తుంటే కలిగే భయానికి వెనక్కి వచ్చేస్తారు. ఇక లోపలి దాకా వెళ్లి స్వామి దర్శనం చేసుకుని రావటమంటే అద్భుతమని చెప్పాలి…
ఈ పాతాళ భువనేశ్వర స్వామి ఆలయంలోనే ఒకప్పుడు పరమ శివుడు నరికిన వినాయకుడి తల ఇప్పటికీ మనకు కనిపిస్తుంది. అయితే అది విగ్రహ రూపంలో ఉంటుంది. దాని వద్ద ఒక ఎలుకను కూడా మనం విగ్రహ రూపంలో చూడవచ్చు. సాక్షాత్తూ పరమశివుడే ఈ గుహకు కాపలా ఉంటాడని స్థల పురాణం చెబుతోంది.
వినాయకుడు తన కుమారుడని తెలియక శివుడు వినాయకుడి తలను నరికాక, ఆ తరువాత ఏనుగు తల తెచ్చి అతికించాక, పార్వతి తన కుమారుని మొహాన్ని అలాచూసి ఏడుస్తుండటంతో.. లోకానికి గజముఖుడిగా కనిపించినా నీ కుమారుడు నీకు పూర్వరూపంలోనే కనిపిస్తాడని వరాన్ని ఇస్తాడు.. తరువాత ఖండించిన వినాయకుని తల పడిన ఈ గుహకు వచ్చి ఆ తలను మహిమాన్వితం గావించి, పుత్ర వాత్సల్యంతో శివుడే కొంత కాలం ఆ గుహలో ఉన్నాడట. అప్పటి నుంచి క్రీస్తుశకం 1191వ సంవత్సరంలో ఆది శంకరాచార్యుడి కాలం వరకు ఈ గుహను చూసిన వారు లేరని చరిత్ర చెబుతుంది..
ఇక ఈ ఆలయం ఉన్న గుహ కేవలం ఒక్క గుహలా కాకుండా.. చాలా గుహలని కలిపే వరుసల సమూహంగా ఉంటుంది. ఇక ఈ ఆలయం దాటి వెళితే ఇంకా కిందకు మరిన్ని గుహలు ఉంటాయట. వాటి గుండా వెళితే నేరుగా కైలాసాన్ని చేరుకోవచ్చని స్థల పురాణం చెబుతోంది. శివుడు ఆ గుహల గుండానే కైలాసానికి వెళ్లాడని పురాణప్రతీతి.. ఆ గుహల్లోకి వెళ్లడంపై ప్రస్తుతం నిషేధం ఉంది.. ఎందుకంటే వాటిల్లో గాలి ఉండదు. వెళ్లిన కాసేపటికే ఊపిరాడక చనిపోతారు. అయితే పాండవులు తాము చనిపోయే ముందు ఈ గుహకు వచ్చి వినాయకున్ని దర్శించుకుని ఆ లోతైన గుహల గుండా నేరుగా కైలాసానికి వెళ్లారని కూడా స్థల పురాణం చెబుతోంది.
అరుదుగా మాత్రమే శని దాని ప్రతికూల ప్రభావాన్ని చూపుతుంది ఎందుకంటే ప్రస్తుత లేదా మునుపటి జన్మలో చేసిన కర్మపై ఈ శని ప్రభావం ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది. అంటే శని చెడుప్రభావాలు మనుషులు చేసే కర్మలకు అనుగుణంగా ఉంటుంది. ముఖ్యంగా మనదేశంలో పిల్లలు పుట్టగానే కుండలిని ఏర్పాటు చేసి వారు జన్మించిన గ్రహం, నక్షత్రం ఆధారంగా శనిదోష నివారణకు పూజలు చేస్తారు. దీని వల్ల వారి భవిష్యత్తు బాగుంటుందని, ఎలాంటి సమస్యలకు అనారోగ్యాలకు, దుష్ప్రభవాలకు గురికాకుండా ఉంటారని నమ్ముతుంటారు. మరి ఇలాంటి శని దోష నివారణకు పాటించాల్సిన కొన్ని నియమాల గురించి మనం ఇపుడు తెల్సుకుందాం..
శని దేవుడిని తలుస్తూ శనివారం నాడు నలపు లేదా ముదురు నీలం రంగులో ఉన్న బట్టలను ధరించి.. ఆ రోజు ఆయనకు అంకితమివ్వాలి.నలుపు రంగు నువ్వులను నల్లటి వస్త్రంలో మూటకట్టి నువ్వుల నూనేలో ముంచాలి. అనంతరం ఆ వస్త్రాన్ని దీపం మాదిరి వెలిగించి భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో హనుమంతుడిని, శనిదేవుడిని పూజించాలి. హనుమంతుడిని ఎందుకు పూజించాలి అంటే.. పూర్వం రావాణాసురుడి భారి నుంచి శనిదేవుడిని ఆంజేనేయుడు కాపాడుతాడు. అందుకు రుణపడిన శనీశ్వరుడు.. హనుమంతుడిని సేవించేందుకు ముందుకు వచ్చాడు. అప్పుడు ఆంజనేయుడు తన భక్తులకు శని ప్రభావం లేకుండా చూడాలని శనీశ్వరుడిని అడుగుతాడు. అప్పటి నుంచి హనుమంతుడిని కొలిచేవారికి శని చెడు ప్రభావం అంటదు.
పొద్దున్నే నిద్రలేచిన తర్వాత స్నానమాచరించి భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో హనుమాన్ చాలీసా, శని చాలీసా పఠించాలి. మంగళవారం, శనివారాల్లో మద్యపానం, పొగాకు సేవించడం, మాంసం తినడం లాంటి వాటిని త్యజించి భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో హనుమంతుడిని, శని దేవుడిని పూజించాలి. మీ పనులు, మాటలు వల్ల గానీ ఎవరికీ ఆపద తలపెట్టకుండా ఇతరుల పట్ల గౌరవ మార్యాదలతో మెలగాలి. ఎందుకంటే మన కర్మలమీద మన క్రియలు ఆధారపడి ఉంటాయి.
అరణ్యవాస సమయంలో తమవెంట వచ్చిన పౌరులకు, మును లకు ఆహారం కల్పించడం ఎలాగో తెలియక ధర్మ రాజు సూర్యుని ప్రార్థిస్తాడు. అప్పుడు సూర్యుడ ప్రసన్నుడై ఆయనకు ఒక అక్షయపాత్రను ప్రసాదిస్తాడు. ఆ అక్షయపాత్ర అక్షయం గా ఆహార పదార్థాలను అందిస్తుంది. అలాగే సత్రాజిత్తు అనేరాజు సూర్యుని ప్రార్థించి శమంతకమనే మణిని పొందుతాడు. ఆ మణి రోజూ పుష్కలంగా బంగారాన్ని ప్రసాదిస్తుంది. ఇక విద్యావివేకాలకూ, బుద్ధి వికాసానికీ వెలుగే మూలం. ఆ వెలుగును ప్రసాదించే సూర్యభగవానుడు వేదశాస్త్రాది విద్యలన్నింటిలో నిష్ణాతుడు. సూర్యుని దగ్గరే ఆంజనేయుడు వేద శాస్త్రాలను అభ్యసిస్తాడు. బుద్ధిని ప్రేరేపించే వాడు సూర్యుడేనని చెబుతుంది గాయత్రీమంత్రం. ఇహా నికీ, పరానికీ కావలసినవన్నీ మనకు సూర్యునినుంచి అందుతున్నాయి. జీవుల పుట్టుకకూ పోషణకూ అవసరమైనవన్నీ సూర్యునివల్లే లభిస్తున్నాయి. మన కర్మలను మనస్సు నియంత్రిస్తే. ఆ మనుస్సును నియంత్రించేవాడు చంద్రుడు. చంద్రునికి ప్రకాశాన్ని అందించేవాడు సూర్యుడు. ఆధ్యా త్మిక సాధనలో ప్రధాన సాధనం మనస్సే అంతటికీ, అన్నింటికి కారకుడైన సూర్యుని ఆరాధించి ఎందరో ఋషూలు, యోగులు అద్భుత ఫలితాలను పొందారు. సూర్యయోగం పేరుతో ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రక్రియ నొకదానిని రూపకల్పన చేసి అందించారు.
సూర్యుడే గురువనీ, సూర్యకాంతే జ్ఞానమనీ చెబుతారు. శరీరంలో 24 తత్వాలుంటాయనీ, సూర్య కాంతి ప్రసారంతో వీటిని మేలుకొలిపి చైతన్యవంతం చేస్తే జ్ఞానం సిద్ధిస్తుందనీ వీరంటారు. పంచ భూతాలలో ఆకాశమూ, అగ్నీ ఉన్నాయి. ఆకాశం వల్ల శబ్దం ఉత్పన్నమవుతోంది. అగ్ని వల్ల వెలుగు, వేడి పుడుతున్నాయి. మన శరీరంలో ఉన్న ఆరు చక్రాలను వెలుగు పైనుంచి కిందికి చైతన్యవంతం చేస్తుంటే, శబ్దం కిందినుంచిపైకి చైతన్యవంతం చేస్తూ ఉంటుంది. శబ్ధానికి కొన్ని పరిమితులున్నాయి. శబ్ద ప్రసారానికి ఏదైనా మాధ్యమం అవసరమవుతుంది. వెలుగు అపరిమిత మైనది. కాంతి ప్రసారానికి ఎటువంటి మాధ్యమమూ అవసరంలేదు. వెలుగు అన్నింటికంటె వేగంగా పయనిస్తుంది. ఋషులు, యోగులు ఎంతోకాలంపాటు నిరాహారులుగా ఉండి తపస్సు చేసుకుంటూ ఉంటారని మనకు తెలుసు. ఇది సాధ్యమా అని సందేహించేవారుంటారు. పంచభూతాలతోకూడిన ప్రకృతి, ఆ ప్రకృతిలోని భాగమైన మనమూ, మన శరీరంలోనే నిద్రాణంగా ఉన్న అపారశక్తులనూ, వాటిని మేలు కొలిపే ప్రక్రియల గురించి తెలుసుకున్నప్పుడు ఈ సందేహానికి అవకాశముండదు.
సూర్యనమ స్కారాలు, ఆసనాలవల్ల సూర్య శక్తిని నేరుగా స్వీకరించినప్పుడు ఆ సూర్యశక్తి మనలోని శక్తులకు అనూహ్యమైన పరివర్తన కలిస్తుంది. శరీర, ప్రాణ, మనస్సులను మూడింటినీ విశ్వ చైతన్యంలోకి ప్రవేశపెడుతుంది. మనలో అంతర్గతంగా ఉన్న శక్తి కేంద్రాలు తెరచుకున్నప్పుడు శరీరం నిలుపుకోవడానికి బాహ్యమైన ఆహారపదార్థాల అవసరం తగ్గుతుంది. అంటే భోగశరీరం యోగ శరీరంగా మారి పోతుంది. అప్పుడు అపారమైన శాంతి, సమస్థితి కలుగుతాయి.
సూర్యకిరణాలు ఏడు రంగులలో ఉంటాయని మనకు తెలుసు. ఈ రంగుల ఆధారంగా ఒక చికిత్సా పద్ధతిని ప్రవేశపెట్టారు. నారింజరంగు వేడిని కలిగించి పైత్య సంబంధమైన రుగ్మతలను నివారిస్తుంది. జీర్ణ ప్రక్రియను బాగు చేస్తుంది. శీతల స్వభావం కలిగిన ఆకుపచ్చ రంగు కండపుష్టిని కలిగించి మెదడును పటిష్ఠపరుస్తుంది. కీళ్ళనొప్పులవంటి రుగ్మ తలను పోగొడుతుంది. నీలిరంగు కూడా శీతల స్వభావం కలిగి ఉండి పిత్తదోషం వల్ల కలిగే రోగాలను నివారిస్తుంది. ఈ మూడు రంగులను ప్రధాన వర్ణాలుగా స్వీకరించి మిగిలిన రంగుల సమ్మే ళనంతో మూడు వర్గాలుగా విభజించి చికిత్సకు ఉపయో గిస్తారు. సూర్య నమస్కారాలు మొదలైన వాటి వల్ల సూర్య కిరణాలుమన ఆలోచనా ప్రక్రియను శుద్ధి చేసి తగువిధంగా నియంత్రిస్తూ ఉంటాయి . సాధారణ మానవ చైతన్యంతో నియంత్రణకు లొంగని మనస్సు సౌరవ్యవస్థ నుంచి వచ్చే ఫోటాన్ల సహాయంతో తేలికగా నియంత్రితమవుతుంది. మన ఇంద్రియాలు ఎప్పుడూ బయటికే తిరిగి ఉంటాయి. మన ఆలోచనలు బాహ్యంలోనే పరిభ్రమిస్తూ ఉంటాయి. అందుకే మనలోపల ఉన్న అజ్ఞాతశక్తుల గురించి మనకు తెలియదు. అలా తెలియ కుండా చేసేదే మాయ. ‘వెలుపలి సూర్యునికంటె వేయిరెట్లు ఎక్కువ కాంతితో వెలిగిపోయే సూర్యుడు మనలోపలే ఉన్నాడు. అలాగే జ్ఞాన వివేకాలు కూడా మనలోపలే ఉన్నాయి. ఈ విషయం మనం తెలుసుకోకుండా మాయ అడ్డపడుతూ ఉంటుంది. సాధనతో ఈ మాయ అడ్డును తొలగించుకుంటే మనలోని సూర్య శక్తి మనల్ని తేజోవంతం చేస్తుంది.. అందుకే ఎవరైనా అనారోగ్యంతో బాధపడుతుంటే సూర్య ఆరాధన చేయమంటారు పండితులు..
శ్రీవరాహనృసింహస్వామి స్వయంభూగా వెలసిన మహా పుణ్యక్షేత్రం సింహాచలం. భక్తులందరూ సింహాద్రి అప్పన్నగా కొలుస్తారు.. స్వామి కొలువై ఉన్న కొండ సింహం ఆకారంలో కనబడేదట. ఆ కారణంగా ఈ కొండకు సింహాచలం అనే పేరు వచ్చిందట. ఈ కొండ మీద వెలసిన దేవుడు కాబట్టి స్వామికి సింహాచలేశుడుఅనే ప్రసిద్ధి కలిగినది. దీనినే సింహాద్రి అని కూడా అంటారు..
పురాణకథనాల ప్రకారం వైశాఖ మాస శుక్ల పక్షం నాడు పూర్ణిమకు ముందు వచ్చే చతుర్ధశినాడు పగలు,రాత్రి కాని సాయంసంధ్యా సమయంలో పూర్తిగా నరుడు, మృగం కాకుండా ఆ రెండూ కలసిన శరీరంతో సుమారు పది తాటిచెట్ల పొడవున్న పరిమాణంతో ఆవిర్భవించాడు నరసింహస్వామి. దుష్టశిక్షణ, శిష్ట రక్షణ కోసం ఆ శ్రీమన్నారాయణ మూర్తి ఎత్తిన దశావతారాలలో నాలుగవది నృసింహావతారం. అయితే సింహాచలంలో మనం దర్శించుకుంటున్నది వరాహనరసింహస్వామిని.
ప్రహ్లాదుడు పరమ విష్ణు భక్తుడు. ఎపుడు విష్ణు నమ స్మరణగావిస్తుండేవాడు.. అయితే అతని తండ్రి హిరణ్యకశిపుడుకి కుమారుని విష్ణుభక్తి నచ్చదు. తన కుమారుణ్ణి విష్ణుభక్తి నుంచి మరల్చటానికి హిరణ్యకశిపుడు ఎన్నో ప్రయత్నాలు చేశాడట. కుమారునికి నయాన భయానా నచ్చచెప్పి చూసాడు. అయినప్పటికీ ప్రహ్లాదునిలో ఎటువంటి మార్పూ లేదు. కుమారుణ్ణి మార్చటంలో ఎంతో ప్రయత్నించి విఫలుడైనటువంటి హిరణ్యకశిపుడు ఇక లాభం లేదు.. కఠినంగా శిక్షిస్తే తప్ప కుమారుడు మారదు అనుకుని.. తన సేవకులను పిలిచి ప్రహ్లాదుని సముద్రంలో పడవేసి అతని మీద ఒక పర్వతాన్ని వేయవలసినదిగా ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు.
అప్పుడు సేవకులు ప్రహ్లాదుని సముద్రంలో పడవేసి మీద సింహగిరి పర్వతాన్ని వేయగా స్వామి వచ్చి రక్షించాడట. ఆ సింహగిరే నేటి సింహాచలం.. మరి ఇక్కడ స్వామి వరాహ,నరసింహస్వరూపుడై ఎందుకు వెలశాడు, నరసింహావతారమెత్తి హిరణ్యకశిపుని సంహరించిన తర్వాత భక్తుడైన ప్రహ్లాదుడు విష్ణుమూర్తిని ఒక కోరిక కోరాడట. తన పెదతండ్రిని చంపిన వరాహమూర్తి, తండ్రిని చంపిన నరసింహావతారం కలసి వరాహనరసింహస్వామిగా ఇక్కడ కొలువై ఉండమని వేడుకున్నాడట..
తన భక్తుడైన ప్రహ్లాదుని కోరిక మన్నించి స్వామి ఇక్కడ వరాహనరసింహ రూపంలో వెలిశాడు. తర్వాత ప్రహ్లాదుడు స్వామి కోసం ఇక్కడ ఒక ఆలయం కట్టించి వరాహనృసింహస్వామిని పూజించినట్లుగా పురాణ కధనాలు చెప్తున్నాయి. అయితే కృతయుగం చివరిలో కొంతకాలం ఈ ఆలయం నిరాదరణకు గురై కొంతభాగం భూమిలో కప్పబడిపోయిందట. ఆ తర్వాతి కాలంలో చంద్రవంశ రాజైనటువంటి పురూరవుడు ఈ ఆలయాన్ని పునరుద్దరించినట్టుగా పురాణ కధనాలు చెప్తున్నాయి. ఒక సందర్బంలో స్వామి కలలో కనపడి తాను సింహాచల కొండ ప్రాంతంలో పుట్టలో వున్నానని అక్కడ ఆలయం నిర్మించమని చెప్పాడట. అలా అక్కడ కొలువైన సింహాచలేశుని దేవతలు, మునులు, రాజప్రముఖుల వరకు ఎంతో మంది స్వామిని సేవించి తరించారట. ఇక కలియుగం లో చాళుక్యులు, చోళ, కళింగ రాజులు, శ్రీకృష్ణదేవరాయలు, ఇతర విజయనగర రాజులు ఈ ఆలయ అభివృద్ది కోసం ఎంతో కృషి చేసారు. ఆ రాజా వంశీకులే ఇప్పటికి దేవస్థాన కమిటీని ఏర్పరచి, ఆలయ భద్రతా భాధ్యతల్ని వహిస్తున్నారు..
శక్తి రూపం తీసుకోవడం విష్ణుమూర్తికి ఎంత ఇష్టమట. అందుకే పురాణాలలో విష్ణుమూర్తి యొక్క మోహినీ అవతారాలు పలు సందర్భాల్లో కనబడుతుంది. నారాయణ నారాయణి రెండు రూపాలలో కనబడుతున్న, పరబ్రహ్మం ఒకరే అని గ్రహించాలి.. మొట్టమొదట మోహినీ అవతారం ప్రస్తావన క్షీరసాగర మధనం అనంతరం దైత్యగణ మోసాన్ని నివారించడానికి దేవతలకు న్యాయం చెయ్యడానికి స్వామి ఒకే సమయంలో అటు మందర పర్వతాన్ని మోస్తున్న కూర్మంగా, ఆ మధనఫలితాన్ని అనుగ్రహిస్తున్న ధన్వంతరిగా, దేవతలకు అమృతం పంచుతున్న మోహినిగా నిలబడి రాక్షసులను మరులు గొలుపుతూ దేవతలకు ఆ ఫలాలను అందించారు.
ఈశ్వరుడు ఆ సాగరమధన సమయంలో వచ్చిన విషాన్ని తన గరళంలో దాచుకుని లోకాలను రక్షించిన తరువాత దేవతలందరూ స్వామి యొక్క మోహినీ అందచందాలను పొగిడితే తన బావగారి వైకుంఠంకు వెళ్లి తనకు ఆ అవతార దర్శనాన్ని ఇమ్మని అడుగగా శివుని కోసం మరల మొహిని అవతారం తీసుకుని పార్వతీదేవి మరొక రూపం ఆయనకు దర్శింపచేసారు.
భస్మాసురునికి ఎవరి తలపైన చేయి పెడితే వారు భస్మం అవుతారన్న విపరీతమైన వరాన్ని అనుగ్రహించిన శివున్నే వెంటాడుతాడు.. తానిచ్చిన వరం మర్యాద నిలపాలి కావున లీలావినోదంగా శివుడు అతడినుండి పారిపోతున్నట్టు నటించగా తనకు అభేదమైన విష్ణువు ఆ మూర్ఖ అసురుని మోహింప చెయ్యడానికి మోహిని అవతారం స్వీకరించి అతడి తలమీదే అతని చెయ్యి పెట్టుకుని భస్మమైపోయేట్టు చేస్తాడు.
అంతగా ప్రాచుర్యం పొందని మరొక కధ గణేశపురాణంలో ఉంది. సూర్యుని అనుగ్రహంతో విరోచనుడు అజేయమైన ఒక మాయా కిరీటం సంపాదిస్తాడు. దాని వలన అతడు లోక కంటకునిగా మారి స్వర్గాన్ని ఆక్రమించి అల్లకల్లోలం సృష్టించగా మోహినీ అవతారంలో అతడిని మోహంలో ముంచి ఆ కిరీటం వదులుకునేలా ప్రేరేపించి సుదర్శనానికి బలి ఇస్తాడు ఆ స్తితికారకుడు.
ఇక హర మోహినీ కలయిక వలన హరిహరపుత్రుడు ఉద్భవించారని కొన్ని పురాణాలు ఘోషిస్తే, కొన్ని తమిళ పురాణాలలో అక్కడ అయ్యనార్ అవతరించారని, అగ్ని పురాణం ప్రకారం హనుమంతుడు ఉద్భవించారని, లింగపురాణం ప్రకారం ఉమయంగనగా విష్ణువు శివుని పుత్రుడైన స్కంధునికి పుట్టుక కలిగించినట్టు చెబుతాయి. కొన్ని కధలు కల్పభేదాలుగా కనిపిస్తాయి. కొన్ని మరొక దానితో విభేదించినట్టు కనబడతాయి కానీ ఇందులో ఉన్న ఒక ధర్మసూక్ష్మం నారాయణ నారాయణి ఒకటే… ఒక్క పరబ్రహ్మం వివిధ ఆకారాలలో విధినిర్వహణ చేస్తు ఒకొక్క కార్యాన్ని చక్కబెట్టడానికి కొన్ని శక్తుల కలయిక చెయ్యాలి కాబట్టి ఇటువంటి లీలలు చేస్తారు. వీటిని గుర్తు చేస్తూ మన కలియుగ దైవం శ్రీ వేంకటేశుని బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలలో ఐదవ రోజున మోహినీ అవతారంలో మనల్ని అనుగ్రహిస్తూ ఉంటారు.
మానవాళికి వారి వారి ప్రాప్త కర్మల వలన దుఃఖం కలుగుతుంది. తెలిసో తెలియకో పాపం చేసి భరించరాని ఆ దుఃఖాన్ని అనుభవిస్తూ ఇక ఆ పాపాలను చెయ్యబోము, మరి మాకు తరుణోపాయమేది అని చాలా మంది ఆర్తితో ఆలోచిస్తుంటారు. గణపతి రూపాలలో హేరంబ గణపతి అనే ఓ రూపం ఉంటుంది. ఈ రూపంలోని స్వామిని ఆరాధిస్తే కలిగే మేలు అంతా ఇంతా కాదు. హేరంబ గణపతికి పది చేతులుంటాయి. అభయముద్ర, వరదముద్ర, పాశం, దంతం, రుద్రాక్షమాల, పాశం, గొడ్డలి, ముద్గరం, దండం, పద్మాలను ఆ చేతులతో ధరించి ఉంటాడు. తొండంతో మోదకాన్ని ధరించి సింహ వాహనాన్ని ఎక్కి ఉంటాడు. ఈ స్వామికి ఐదు గజ ముఖాలుంటాయి. ఈ స్వామిని ధ్యానిస్తే సర్వ శుభాలు, విజయాలు చేజిక్కుతాయి.
ఈ విషయాన్ని హేరంబోపనిషత్ ప్రారంభంలో సాక్షాత్తూ పరమేశ్వరుడు పార్వతీదేవికి వివరించి చెప్పాడు. ప్రాణులంతా ఎలా దుఃఖాలను పోగొట్టుకొని సుఖాలను పొందాలంటే ఎం చేయాలి.. దానికి సంబంధించిన ఉపాయాన్ని చెప్పమని పార్వతి అడిగినప్పుడు శివుడు తన అనుభవంలోకి వచ్చిన విషయాన్నే ఆమెకు ఇలా చెప్పాడు.
పూర్వం త్రిపురాసుర సంహారం దేవతలందరికీ గొప్ప కష్టాన్ని తెచ్చిపెట్టింది. ఎంత మంది దేవతలు ఎన్ని విధాలుగా పోరాడినా ఫలితం లేకపోయింది. చివరకు లయకారకుడైన ఈశ్వరుడే స్వయంగా యుద్ధ రంగంలోకి దిగాడు. తన యోగబలంతో సహా ఎన్ని బలాలను ప్రయోగించినా శత్రు సంహారం సాధ్యం కాలేదు. అప్పుడు హేరంబ గణపతిని ధ్యానించి పరమాత్మ సారభూతమైన ఆ గణపతి శక్తిని పొంది దాన్ని తన బాణంలో నిక్షిప్తం చేసి శత్రువు మీదకు సంధించాడు శివుడు. ఆ మరుక్షణంలోనే త్రిపుర సంహారం జరిగిపోయింది. బ్రహ్మ, విష్ణు తదితర దేవతలు కూడా హేరంబ గణపతి రక్ష వల్లనే తమ తమ స్థానాలలో సుఖంగా ఉండగలుగుతున్నారు.
ఈ కారణం వల్లే తొలివేల్పుగా, సర్వదేవతా పూజనీయుడిగా గణేశుడు వెలుగొందుతున్నాడు. ఈ విఘ్నరాజు ప్రభువులకే ప్రభువు. ఆయనను ఉపాసించి సంసార సాగరం నుంచి, కష్టాల కడలి నుంచి సుఖంగా బయటపడవచ్చని శివుడు పార్వతికి తెలియచెప్పాడు. హేరంబ గణపతి సిందూర వర్ణంతో అలరారుతుంటాడు. ఈ స్వామి పక్కన లక్ష్మి ఉంటుంది. ఆయనను పూజించినా, ధ్యానించినా సర్వ శుభాలూ సమకూరుతాయి. ఆయన వల్లనే మునులు కూడా సంసార సాగరాన్ని దాటగలుగుతున్నారు. ఆయనే బ్రహ్మ. ఆయనే హరి. ఇంద్రుడు, చంద్రుడు, పరమాత్మ, సమస్త జగత్తుకూ సాక్షి కూడా ఆయనే. మానవాళి దుఃఖాలను పోగొట్టుకోవటం కోసం ఆ స్వామిని పూజించటం కంటే సులభమైన మార్గం మరొకటి లేదు.

బ్రహ్మం గారి అవతారాన్ని బట్టి అందరూ ఆయనను ఆధ్యాత్మికవేత్త అనుకునేవారట. కానీ ఆయన హేతువాదిగా ఉండేవారట. అంతేకాదు సంఘసంస్కర్త అని చరిత్రకారులు చెబుతున్నారు. క్రీ.శ1608 నుండి 1693 మధ్య జీవించిన ఈయన కాలజ్ణానాన్ని బోధించిన యోగిగా మంచి పేరు తెచ్చుకున్నారని చరిత్ర ద్వారా తెలుసుస్తోంది. అయితే ప్రస్తుతం బ్రహ్మంగారి ప్రస్తావన మరోసారి తెరమీదకు వచ్చింది.. ప్రపంచంలో ఎక్కడ ఏ వింత చోటు చేసుకున్నా.. అది బ్రహ్మంగారు ఆనాడే చెప్పారని వింటుంటాం.. అందులో కరోనా వైరస్ కూడా ఒక్కటి. అయితే ఇంతటితో ఈ భయంకరమైన పరిస్థితులు ఆగిపోవని బ్రహ్మంగారు చెప్పారట. మరిన్నో పరిణామాలు చోటు చేసుకుంటాయని చెప్పారట.
బ్రహ్మంగారి కాలజ్ణానం ప్రకారం ఇప్పటివరకు జరిగిన విషయాలు పరిశీలిస్తే… కాశీలోని దేవాలయం నలభై రోజులు పాడుపడుతుంది అని చెప్పాడు. ఆయన చెప్పినట్టుగానే 1910-12 మధ్యలో గంగానదికి భారీ వరదలు వచ్చాయి. ఆ సమయంలో అక్కడ కలరా వ్యాపించింది. దీని వల్ల ఆ సమయంలో కాశీ పుణ్యక్షేత్రాన్ని సందర్శించేందుకు భక్తులెవ్వరూ వెళ్లలేదు.
వ్యభిచారిణుల వల్ల చాలా మంది భయంకర రోగాలకు గురవుతారు. వావీ వరసలు లేకుండా మనుషులు పశువుల్లా ప్రవర్తిస్తారు అని కాలజ్ఞానం లో చెప్పారు బ్రహ్మం గారు.. దీనికి ఉదాహరణే ఎయిడ్స్.. ప్రపంచాన్ని గడగడలాడించిన ఈ ఎయిడ్స్ వ్యాధికి మందే అనేదే దొరకలేదు. ఈ వ్యాధి వచ్చి లక్షలాది మంది చనిపోయారు. అక్రమ సంబంధాలు ఇటీవల విపరీతంగా పెరిగి హత్యలకు కూడా దారి తీశాయి. తీస్తున్నాయి.

ఇక రాబోయే రోజుల్లో జరిగే వాటి గురించి బ్రహ్మంగారు తన కాలజ్ణానంలో ఇంకా చాలా విషయాలు చెప్పారు. అందులో ముఖ్యమైనది ఏంటంటే.. మన తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లోని క్రిష్ణా నది కనకదుర్గమ్మ వారి ముక్కు పుడకను తాకుతుందట. ఒకవేళ జల ప్రళయం వచ్చి లేదా భూకంపం వచ్చి నాగార్జున సాగర్ డ్యామ్ బీటలు పడి అలాంటి విపత్తే జరిగితే క్రిష్ణా నది ఇంద్రకీలాద్రిని తాకే ప్రమాదం ఉంది.
క్రిష్ణా నది మధ్యలో ఒక బంగారు రథం పుడుతుంది. దాన్ని చూసిన వారికి ఆ కాంతి వల్ల కంటి చూపు పోతుందట. అలాగే పర్వతానికి ఒక మొసలి వస్తుంది. 8 రోజులు ఉండి, భ్రమరాంబ గుడిలో దూరి మేకపోతు లాగా అరిచి మాయమవుతుందట. అలాగే కర్నూలు జిల్లా ఆదోని మండలంలో కప్ప కోడై కూస్తుందని చెప్పారట. అలా జరిగితే ఎన్నో వినాశనాలు జరుగుతాయట. ఇక శ్రీశైలానికి దక్షిణాన కొండల నుండి రాళ్లు దొర్లిపడి చాలా మంది ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోతారట. పగిలిన రాతిముక్కలు లేచి ఆకాశాన ఎగురుతాయని చెప్పారు. కర్నాటకలో కామాక్షమ్మ విగ్రహం నుండి రక్తం కారుతుందట. కలియుగంలో 5 వేల సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తయ్యేసరికి కాశీలో గంగ కనబడదట. ఇలా బ్రహ్మంగారి కాలజ్ఞానం ప్రస్తుతం వైరల్ గ మారింది..
ప్రాచీనకాలం నాటి శైవక్షేత్రాలకి వెళితే అక్కడ తప్పనిసరిగా కన్పించే విగ్రహం భైరవుడు. భయాన్ని కలిగించేలా వుంటుంది ఆయన రూపం. కాశీ క్షేత్రపాలకుడిగానే కాకుండా అనేక క్షేత్రాల్లో ఆయన క్షేత్ర పాలకుడిగా కనిపిస్తుంటాడు. అసితాంగ భైరవుడు .. రురు భైరవుడు .. చండ భైరవుడు .. క్రోధ భైరవుడు .. ఉన్మత్త భైరవుడు .. కపాల భైరవుడు .. భీషణ భైరవుడు .. సంహార భైరవుడు .. అనే ఎనిమిది నామాలతో … వివిధ ముద్రలతో భైరవుడు దర్శనమిస్తూ వుంటాడు.
తనని అవమానపరచడమే కాకుండా, తనకి సతీదేవిని దూరం చేసిన దక్షుడిపై శివుడు ఉగ్రుడవుతాడు. వీరభద్రుడిని సృష్టించి దక్షుడి శిరస్సును ఖండింపజేస్తాడు. అలాగే తన విషయంలో అవమానకరంగా వ్యవహరించిన బ్రహ్మదేవుడిపై కూడా శివుడు ఆగ్రహావేశాలను వ్యక్తం చేస్తాడు. ఆ సమయంలోనే ‘భైరవుడు’ ని సృష్టించి బ్రహ్మదేవుడి తలను ఖండించమని ఆదేశిస్తాడు.
భైరవుడి చేతిలోని బ్రహ్మదేవుడి కపాలం కిందపడిన ప్రదేశమే నేడు ‘బ్రహ్మ కపాలం’ గా పిలవబడుతోంది. ఆ తరువాత శివాజ్ఞ ప్రకారం కాశీ క్షేత్రానికి చేరుకున్న భైరవుడు అక్కడ క్షేత్రపాలకుడిగా ఉండిపోతాడు. ఆ తరువాత అనేక శైవక్షేత్రాల్లో ఆయన మూర్తిని క్షేత్రపాలక శిలగా ప్రతిష్ఠించారు. ఆయా క్షేత్రాల్లో భైరవుడు కూడా అత్యంత భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో పూజించబడుతూ వుంటాడు. ఈ స్వామిని ఆరాధించడం వలన దుష్ట శక్తుల నుంచి రక్షణ లభిస్తుందనీ, పాడిపంటలు వృద్ధి చెందుతాయని భక్తులు విశ్వసిస్తుంటారు..

అనేక దేశాల నుండి పెద్ద పెద్ద శాస్త్ర వేత్తలు వచ్చి కాశీి లో అనేక రీసెర్చ్ లు జరిపి ఆశ్చర్యపోయ్యారు. అస్సలు ఈ కాస్మో రేస్ ఎక్కడి నిండి వస్తున్నాయి అని మాత్రం తెలుసుకోలేకపోయారు.. అప్పటి పూర్వికులు శక్తి చలనం వున్న చోటల్లా మందిరాలు నిర్మించారు.అంత పరిజ్ఞానం ఆ రోజుల్లో వారికీ ఎక్కడిది అని ఆశ్చర్యానికి గురైనారు.

నానో టెక్నాలజీ అంటే పెద్ద పరిమాణాలను అతి చిన్న పరిమాణాలుగా చేసి ఒక చోటు నుండి మరో చోటుకి తరలించడం, అఘోరాలు కూడా దేశంలో ఎక్కడ కుంభమేళా జరిగిన వేల సంఖ్యలో వస్తారు, కానీ వచ్చేటప్పుడు కానీ తిరిగి వెళ్ళేటప్పుడు కానీ ఎవరికీ కనిపించరు, కేవలం కుంభమేళా జరిగే ప్రాంతంలో మాత్రమే కనిపిస్తారు, అఘోరాలు, నాగ సాధువులు సూక్ష్మ శరీరయానం ఉపయోగించి ఎవరికీ కనిపించకుండా హిమాలయాల నుండి ఎక్కడికి అయిన వచ్చి తిరిగి వెళ్తున్నారని, పూర్వకాలంలోనే మన ఋషులు ఈ టెక్నాలజీల గురుంచి రాసిపెట్టారని హిమాలయలలో తపస్సు చేస్తే ఆ శక్తులన్నీ లభిస్తాయని కొంత మంది భావిస్తున్నారు.
సుమారు 200 సంవత్సరాల క్రితం అంటే 1819లోనే 70 మంది శబరిమల యాత్ర చేసారని, ఆ సంవత్సర ఆదాయం ఏడురూపాయలని పందళరాజు వంశీయుల రికార్డులలో ఉంది. 1907వ సంవత్సరంలో శబరిమలలో అయ్యప్ప దేవాలయం పైకప్పు ఎండుగడ్డి, ఆకులతో కప్పబడివుండేదిట.. అప్పుడు అక్కడ శిలా విగ్రహానికే పూజలు జరిగేవి. 1907-1909 మధ్యకాలంలో దేవాలయం అగ్నికి ఆహుతి అవడంతో మరల దేవాలయాన్ని పునఃనిర్మించినట్లు చెప్తుంటారు.. అయితే ఈసారి శిలా విగ్రహానికి బదులు, అయ్యప్ప విగ్రహాన్ని పంచలోహాలతో తయారు చేసి ప్రతిష్టించారు. ఇలా పంచలోహా విగ్రహం ప్రతిష్ఠించాకే శబరిమల వైభవం పెరిగిందట.
ఇక ఆ తర్వాత తర్వాత భక్తుల సంఖ్య భారీగా పెరిగిపోయింది. అయితే శబరిమలకివెళ్ళే భక్తులు పెరగడాన్ని చూసి కొందరికి కన్ను కుట్టి 1950లో దెవలయాన్ని, విగ్రహాన్ని ధ్వంసం చేసారు. అలా పరశురామ నిర్మితమైన దేవాలయం మూడుసార్లు అగ్నికి ఆహుతి అయింది. దేవస్థానం బోర్డు, భక్తుల విరాళాలతో ఇప్పుడున్న దేవాలయాన్ని పునఃనిర్మించారట.. ఇప్పుడున్న పంచలోహ అయ్యప్ప విగ్రహాన్ని చెంగనూరు వాస్తవ్యులు శ్రీ అయ్యప్పన్, శ్రీనీలకంఠన్ అనే శిల్పులిరువురూ కలిసి రూపుదిద్దారట.
